1^st Outlook Beavers                                   February 28, 2005

We would like to have a Beaver overnight camp at the Legion Hall this year.  In order to pick a weekend that would get the most of our Beavers to attend, please let Rainbow or Sunshine know what dates would be best for you.  I was thinking of meeting on a Saturday about 1:00, and having the Beavers ready to go home before or after lunch on Sunday, but your comments and suggestions are welcome.

We will be meeting each Monday until the end of May at least, with only the following dates where no meeting will be held:

No meeting on March 28, 2005

No meeting on May 23, 2005.

 The Beavers Winter Outdoor Challenge is due after March 15, 2005.  You can bring the completed forms to a meeting and we will send them in for you.

A few reminders about our meetings.  The Beavers meet each Monday from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. Please accompany yor youth into the gym when you arrive, and come into the school/gym to pick them up.  We can’t let them leave the school unless they are with a leader or parent/guardian.  Please dress your child appropriate to the weather, as we may go outside for part of any meeting. 

The Beaver Uniform is the Brown Beaver vest and hat, and should be worn for meetings and outings unless advised otherwise. Dues are $0.25 per week, and go towards craft and meeting supplies for the Beavers.

Parents are welcome to stay for the meetings and join the fun and games. Please feel free to suggest ideas for outings, games, songs, or crafts. We will be planning some outings for the spring – some will be on a Monday and some may be on a Saturday or Sunday.
