1st Outlook Beavers September 2004
Welcome to the 1st Outlook Beavers! We had a lot of fun last year with the Beavers. Some of the tours we went on include: tropical birds, a tropical fish farm, a potato barn, a dairy farm, and a tour at Diefenbaker Dam. We also went ice fishing and took in a movie at the theatre, as well as a fall and spring camp. The Beavers made Beaver Buggies and took part in the Kub Kar Rally with the Cubs, Scouts and Venturers. During our meetings at the gym we played games, sang songs, did various craft and learned about directions as well as our Beaver Law, Promise and Motto.
The Beaver Uniform is the Brown Beaver vest and hat. Please note that the Scout Shop in Saskatoon has closed, the Regina Scout Shop is the only one in Saskatchewan now. If you need supplies from the Scout Shop we are trying to arrange pick-ups whenever a leader gets to Regina. Please let us know if you require anything. Parents are welcome to stay for the meetings. Please feel free to suggest ideas for outings, games, songs, or crafts.
