1st Outlook Beavers November 2004
We’ve had a good start to the year, with our Popcorn drive, harvest crafts and a really fun Halloween Party that the Scout section put on for us. More crafts, outdoor activities and tours are being planned. We’ll keep you informed as we confirm dates for outings. All outings that take place away from the school require parental consent for the youth to attend. Before each event a form will be sent home, and will need to be signed and
returned in order for the youth to accompany us. Just a few reminders about meetings. Our meetings run each Monday from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. Please accompany your youth into the gym when you arrive, and come into the school/gym to pick them up. We can’t let them leave the school unless they are with a leader or parent/guardian. Parents are welcome to stay for the meetings. Please dress your child appropriate to the weather, as we may go outside for part of any
meeting. Weekly dues are 25˘ per Beaver. The Beaver Uniform is the Brown Beaver vest and hat. The scarf and slide (or woggle) is presented to each youth when they are invested into the Colony. Please note that the only Scout Shop in Saskatchewan is in Regina. If you need supplies from the Scout Shop you can order directly from them, or you can ask us to order for you when our next order goes in.
IMPORTANT DATE: NOVEMBER 15, 2004
